David：I’d like to ask what your friends have as hobbies.能知道你的朋友有些什么爱好吗?

You：Some of my friends like to get physical, so they play volleyball. I have other friends who enjoy traveling. Some of them really get around. 有些人好动，所以他们打排球。还有些朋友喜欢旅游，他们中的一些人确实去了好多地方。

David：Is playing volleyball a very popular hobby? 他们都很喜欢打篮球吗?

David：No, I like to play soccer. Some people get confused with the name of this sport in English. In th US, “ ganlanqiu” is called football and “zuqiu” is called soccer. But in England, “zuqiu” is called football and “ganlanqiu” is known as “American football”. 不，我喜欢足球。一些人可能对英式和美式足球有些不解。在美国，美式橄榄球称做football，而足球叫做soccer;但是在英国，人们称足球为football，而称美式橄榄球叫American football。
