Richard: Does the name Harvey Carlson ring a bell?
Marilyn: Oh, yes! Harvey Carlson! I remember.
Richard: He said I should call him. He’s the publisher o
f the Carlson Publishing Company. He said they need a new bo
ok of photographs, and he really liked my concept.
Marilyn: So, why don’t you call him in the morning?
Richard: Do you think I have enough to show him?
Marilyn: I’ve been through every section with you, Richa
rd. It’s quite complete. And now that you’re satisfied with
the performing arts section, I think you should show it to M
r. Carlson.
Richard: You’re right. My Family Album, U.S.A. feels rig
ht. I’ll call in the morning and set up an appointment to se
e him.
Marilyn: He’s going to love your work. Come on. Let’s ge

section: 部分。在这里相当于“part”。
now that: 连词，表示“既然”。又例如，“Now that everyon
e is here, we’ll get down to business.”（现在既然人已经到全
了，让我们开始谈正事吧。）

你说得对，《走遍美国》这本书现在的样子看来已经可以了。我

My Family Album, U.S.A. feels right. : 我觉得《走遍美国
》这本书已经不错了。书是不会有感觉的，这里的feel表示某事物作
用于人的感觉，但不用被动而用主动语态。
set up an appointment: 安排约会，会见。相当于“to arrang
e an appointment”。
