S: Excuse me. I need some storybooks in easy English. Do you have anything like that?

C: Well, there are a lot of storybooks upstairs in our children’s section. Some are written for young children, others for teens. Maybe some of them will suit your needs.

单词学习笔记

2.write in + 某种语言 用/以某种语言书写

例：That author has written books in both English and German.

(那名作家用英文和德文写了许多书。)

5.some... other... 此……而另一些……(用于非限定的两个群体)

some... others... still others...

一此……一此……而另一些……(用于非限定的三个群体)

例：Some of his friends live in Beijing; others live in Shanghai.

(他的一些朋友住在北京，而另一些则住在上海。)

Some of the recent graduates are going to graduate school; others are going to get jobs; still others plan to travel around the world.

注意：在美式英文中，常把go之后的连接词and省略，而直接跟动词原形。

例：Could you go ( and) answer the door, please?

(请你去应门好吗?)
